Produces large amounts of aromas in the fermentation that contribute to the complexity of the beer. Delicate fruity esters, little or no phenolic, very low levels of sulfurous, evident banana character when fermented above 23°C.
Vigorous yeast strain specially selected to ferment wheat beer, producing dry and softly rough beer with clean esters, perfect therefore for Weizen (Hefe, Dunkel). It is also suitable for Fruit Beer, Rye Beer, Witbeer and some Saisons.
